STEM Software Camps

Tech-minded students wanting to learn more about STEM — from coding to SketchUp to Photoshop to Web Design and more — were urged to sign up for the free STEMworks Summer Camp series sponsored by Maui Economic Development Board’s Women in Technology.

“This is a great opportunity for local kids to get introduced to our most in-demand STEM courses,” said Isla Young, WIT K-12 STEM Director. “No prior experience is required so it’s a chance to sign up, have fun and explore the things you’ve always wanted to learn about.”

The two-day software/hardware workshops were offered at no charge to 136 students, grades 6 to 12, on Maui, Oahu, and Molokai. The summer 2015 schedule included:
