At the annual Hawaii STEM Conference (HSC), students can choose to enter competitions in a wide variety of STEM categories. These competitions are offered as either pre-conference competitions, where students complete their projects before HSC, or on-site competitions, where students work with industry partners to complete their projects at the conference. Winners are selected from each competition category and are presented on the final day of HSC as the “STEMMY” awards.
